The author presents his book in which the tango-lover Virtanen has taken a vow according to Platon’s idea to stay a virgin until his 36th birthday. A pact that’s quite inconsistent with Virtanen’s passionate way of dancing the Finnish tango. When he falls in love with his dance partner, catastrophe ensues.
